Small vandal-proof and watertight pushbutton switches extend the wide product program of Greatecs. Due to the use of high-quality stainless steel these switches are usable in harsh environments and public areas. The bushing threads have a diameter of 16mm and 19mm.
The offered switches are vandal-proof according to IK09 (19mm Type) and IK08
(16mm Type) standard and dust / water-tight according to IP65. Customers can choose between a dot type and circle type of LED illumination, the standard colors are red, green, yellow, orange, blue and white. There are several standard engravings available, customized markings are also possible by request. Both series are available as momentary or latching switch, the mechanical life-time is min. 1,000,000 cycles.
The IK09 and IK08 standards mean a resistance to impact energy from 10 Joule or 5 Joule. In summary the new switches series offer an innovative solution against vandalism and the ingress of dirt and water. In addition the switches are offered at an attractive price level.
